Getting Crafty!

There are many ways to make a profit online if your crafty. There are lots of places to sell your creations including but not limited to:

eBay: Depending on what your particular craft is, you may look to eBay as a way to get your creations out into the world and make a little green in the process. eBay's activity seems to have declined from what it once was, so there are no guarantee that your crafts will sell big here.

Etsy: Aimed specifically towards the crafty. Etsy is an awesome site where you can sell your creations in your own store, like eBay they have fees but they are much more reasonable in my opinion considering your items stay up for months at a time and not for just a few weeks.

Facebook: More and more I see people using Facebook's group function as an online store. Your friends and family can join your group and stay updated on all the items your selling and any updates you may post regarding your crafts.

Do-it-yourself Online Store: Even with all the easier ways to sell your products, there is still no reason that you cant get your hands dirty yourself and create your own online store through a website builder, one i recommend for this is Yola.com. They have an easy to understand website builder and all the tools you'll need to build an online store.

If you don't want to go the online route you can also try flea markets, consignment shops, having a yard sale, and word of mouth to get your crafts sold. It all boils down to how much effort you want to put into it. Weather its keeping up with and promoting your Etsy shop or setting up for that flea market your going to need to put some time and energy into getting your items sold, but its worth it in the long run.
